Job Description: Behavior Specialist
POSITION DESCRIPTION: ACE is seeking a Behavior Specialist to develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Hold valid BCBA certification
- Good communication skills with students, colleagues and parents
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work Conduct FBAs
- Develop BIPs
- Train staff on the implementation of BIPs
- Collect and maintain data on target behaviors and replacement behaviors
- Complete detailed service logs documenting how services were delivered
- Train, model, and provide feedback on the implementation of the BIP to staff and parents
- Assess students' needs and provide ongoing treatment as needed
THE APPLICANT MUST BE
- Interested in working on a team as a colleague.
- Knowledgeable about children.
- Knowledgeable about children with disabilities. Knowledge regarding autism a plus.
- Excited about teaching!
